I just bought a SATA UltraBay HDD adapter (40Y8725) for my T61, and while it's working perfectly I have some concerns about the HDD inside it.

The UltraBay adapter doesn't have the rubber side guards that they main drive does nor is it secured to the adapter's tray using screws. And from I understand the Thinkpad's Active (HDD) Protection System only works on the main system drive.

Before putting the UltraBay adapter back into my T61, I noticed that the HDD could move around ever so slightly if I pushed with my finger since there was nothing securing it to the sides of the tray.

How physically secure is the HDD inside it? Or to put it another way: what's the likelihood of damaging the 2.5" HDD inside it while the laptop is being used & moved around during "regular" use?

Am I just worrying over nothing??!!
