Just wanted to see how often you Thinkpadders were using your bluetooth, fingerprint reader or Thinklight? So far I haven't used em at all except on the first day I got my T61.

    I don't have a fingerprint reader.
I haven't use the BT yet because I don't have any BT capable accessories.
I used the Thinklight at night when the room light isn't on.

    Fingerprint for every login.

Bluetooth - not yet, but I'm drooling over the Microsoft Entertainment Desktop 8000. I'd like to use it for that, but I'm waiting for a sale. otherwise I might get the 7000 instead. It is also a bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo.

ThinkLight - never, but I like having it there just in case.

    Don't have a fingerprint, (don't need one)

Bluetooth - All the time for voice chat.

ThinkLight - whenever it's dark. I think it's cooler than regular room lights :D.

I opted to exclude the fingerprint reader, using a few tricks you can bypass it if you need to. (Thus using it for security is pointless, if you know what your doing its easier than a password to crack)

I also excluded Bluetooth because the 2.0 standard currently out could use some work before I consider ever using Bluetooth for gaming headsets etc. (Perhaps 3.0 will offer better performance and transfer speeds?)

I still haven't recieved my ThinkPad T61P but I often work in the dark so I'm sure the light will get some use. ;)

Fingerprint Reader - Many times each day (login and unlocks). Inexpensive feature which I will always add.

Bluetooth - Occasionally, but will be more. Waiting for my next notebook mouse which is bluetooth. Inexpensive feature which I will always add.

Thinklight - rarely - I don't hunt and peck, so finding keys with a light isn't necessary. If it was optional, I would ditch it.

I don't use the BT too much yet. I may soon though.

The fingerprint reader I use daily to login in and out of Linux.

I actually use the Thinklight much more than I had anticipated. I like to sit on the front porch towards the evening, have a good cigar and code/tinker while the sun goes down.

you forgot to say if you use the thinklight. lol

Fingerprint Reader - dont have one on my r61 i didnt really see the need for it.

Bluetooth - i have used the bluetooth a few times to transfer songs and stuff from my phone. ive also used it to get pictures from my dads phone. i tried my bluetooth h3 razr headset but i didnt really mess with it much so im not sure how good the reception is with it. i dont know many people to voise chat with LOL.

Thinklight - i think its sweet to have built in but it could be just a little brighter. its decently bright enough to light all the keys just enough to see. it would suck to be in a place where u need it and not have it. :p

I use the fingerprint reader everyday for IE7 passwords and vista logon. I haven't used the bluetooth yet, but probably will eventually. And the thinklight is retarded, if you can't type without looking at the keyboard, you need to learn.

Fingerprint reader: every login (turning computer on or waking from sleep)
Bluetooth: once in a while to receive pictures from my cell phone. Maybe once a month for a couple pics.
ThinkLight: once in 2 months, I think. I like to have it, even though I don't really think I'll use it frequently.

I use my FP scanner all the time so I don't have type passwords.

BT only to sync my phones once in a while.

Thinklight all the time, night time and in classes where the lights are dimmed for the projector.
