If i disable the "USB selective suspend setting" in lenovo's power manager, my power gauge (both lenovo's and Vista's) estimate about 2 hours less of power! Can that be right? I am using an 8-cell in my X61. I get an estimated 8 hours with 30% screen brightness and wifi off, but only 6 with USB suspend disabled.

I would like to disable my usb suspend settings because occasionally my computer will make a weird noise when I am using wiressless on battery mode UNLESS usb suspend is disabled. I don't think this is the same issue as the notorious CPU WHINE issue. Because this only happens when running on battery mode with wifi on. It does sound similar to the cpu whine issue that so many people are suffering from.
