Looking to switch to an ultraportable and the x200s is on my short-list. I'm curious as to the difference between these two processors in normal day-to-day activities. I'm not talking about stress tests or anything like that, just normal stuff I do on a daily basis. I don't do any coding, programming and very rarely if it all do I do any picture/audio/video editing (I can think of one or two times in the past couple years). What I normally use my laptop for is web surfing, word documents, taking notes in class (editing PDF files with PDF Annotator), streaming music, streaming lecture videos, and an occasional movie. FWIW, my current E6400 has a P8400, which is probably overkill for my needs. Am I going to notice a huge difference if I go with the SU9400 for what I use my laptop for?

for your use, there will be absolutely no measurable difference.
put the money toward a good SSD instead. that you'll notice for sure. -
You will not feel any difference between SU9400 and SL9400. However, for some unknown reason, currently the X200s built-in webcam option is available only if you upgrade to SL9400, so that may affect your decision.
How much of a noticeable difference between SU9400 and SL9400 in x200s?
