    Do you guys think it will be a good laptop for:

    School, work
    Photoshop, Dreamweaver
    DVD playback

    If I don't play games, should I get the cheaper model with the Intel GMA950 onboard video? Will it affect the quality of DVD playback?

    The card will not effect DVD playback.
