Hey everyone,
I was just curious how much (% off) the EPP price saves over the current deals being offered at Lenovo.com.
Also, is there anyone willing to share their EPP deal with me that is not interested in getting a system for themselves? I want to get a T61 if possible. If so, please PM me.
Any and all information provided is truly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Hayden

I think it's 15% off with the EPP discount.
-
^No way. It's more like 5-6%.

It varies from time to time. Right now they have 15% plus an additional 25% off for Memorial Day.

Hey SpOOn,
Thanks for posting the EPP code. I had to pull the trigger on it! Here is what I got:
7662CTO ThinkPad T61 with nVIDIA Graphics - $1,236.73
-Intel® Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2GHz 800MHz 4MBL2)[1]
-Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic
(I already own Vista Ultimate)
-14.1 WXGA+ TFT, w/ Camera
-nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M
-1 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM)
(I got another 1GB Stick for $45.00 Already)
-UltraNav (TrackPoint and TouchPad)
-100GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm
-Intel Turbo Memory 1GB
-Bluetooth Integrated
-DVD Recordable 8x Max Dual Layer, Ultrabay Slim[5]
-Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN[10]
-4 cell Li-Ion Battery[60]
-7662: 1 Year Depot Warranty - Express[7]
-1 Year On Site Upgrade with 1 Year ThinkPad Protection $95.20
-ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock with US/Canada/LA Line Cord $157.68
Tax $115.06
Recycling $12.00
Lenovo Total - $1616.67
(Minus TailorMade Amex 10% Discount) = ($161.67)
GRAND TOTAL = $1455.00 (plus $45.00 for extra 1GB sodimm)
Not too shabby of a deal for about $1500.00 if the deal goes through and Lenovo doesn't cancel it, LOL!
I'll keep everyone posted if the Laptop ever does ship.
Thanks again for all of your help and input! -
I stand corrected. I assumed EPP offered the same discount as the Student Discount.
-
Most students can get a *MUCH* better deal than the employees EPP, though on very limited selection, through a campus deal. Students must be a bonafide student at the institution and you are limited to one purchase per year. Find it on campus, like at your bookstore or something

15%....I just got it yesterday.
-
Somebody told me items bought through EPP can not be returned. Is that true?
-
-
Yesss?! Does it make sense at all? Where is it written? What if the product is faulty?
-
Under the terms & conditions of the EPP, only if the product is DOA (dead on arrival), can it be returned. Better tell them in a day or two if that happens. Otherwise no exhange, no returns, no refudnds.
