So I bought a W530 yesterday from Lenovo, and I was wondering what other people paid for theirs. I found a few configs in the owner's thread, but I wanted to see if there was anyone else out there willing to share what they spent on the laptop + upgrades. I figured this would be useful for people on the market for a W530 this holiday season. Let's compare

    Here's my configuration as ordered:

    3720QM
    Windows 8 Pro 64
    FHD Screen
    K2000M
    No color sensor
    8GB RAM
    Backlit KB
    500GB HDD
    DVD-RW
    9 Cell
    BT 4.0
    Intel 6300

Sub-total came out to $1386.75, $1512.62 with tax. I waited for the W530 doorbuster deal yesterday and also used Barnes and Noble Gold.

I also bought the following accessories/upgrades:
    SSD (eBay, Samsung 840 Pro 256GB): $248
    32GB DDR3-1600 RAM (Newegg Shellshocker deal): $100
    1TB HDD (Amazon): $90
    6 cell (Amazon): $75
    Zeroshock III sleeve (eBay): $35
    HDD Caddy (eBay, nimitz): $19

Grand total was about $2100. Can't wait for everything to arrive :D

So, how much did you pay?

Looks like you got a better deal than I did when I bought mine. My initial order had the same CPU, screen, video card, wireless card, hard drive size, and options as yours (the only things different were the OS (Win 7 Pro) and half the RAM) and mine cost a bit over $1800 with a 3-year onsite warranty w/Thinkpad Protection.

I purchased 32GB RAM from Newegg and a 256GB Samsung 830 SSD. I also bought an Ultrabay drive adapter from NewModeUS and recently added a 256GB mSATA Crucial M4 SSD. The grand total of everything is between $2500-2600.

Well I also ordered the same exact specs using the B&N link on the 20th of November and got for $1,331.28 USD (with Tax $ 1,449.43 USD ). My order is being shipped. I am still searching for good SSD/Ram deals.
