When I bought my previous thinkpads they always came with 3 different trackpoint caps. This time there is only one, the boring "default" one. Is it too much for Lenovo to provide two more little caps?
P.S. I rarely use the trackpoint (I use a mouse), but even just for looking, I like the cute fuzzy cap, a tiny red in the black keyboard. It is redder than the other two.

Which cap is the default now?

Just the one, pre-installed on my T520.

When I bought my X301 afew years ago, it only came with one as well (the stock one). My T61 DID come with 3 though.

the T40 was the first system to include all three trackpoint styles in the shipping box. this practice ended a couple years ago (along with the elimination of included recovery media) in an effort to save costs. -

No thanks. I'll head to eBay if I want some.

Anyone knows where I can get some caps for the w520 that are black or blue?
ebay has some, but I am not sure if they will fit. -
This seller used to have black caps. I have one, but they're classic dome only. Maybe it's worth asking.

Yep, midway through the Tx00/X200 generation, Lenovo stopped including all three TrackPoint tips, since only a minority of users probably even bothered trying all three. Physical recovery media was discontinued long before I got my T500.
How many trackpoint caps came with your new machine?
