    How many brightness notches on T61 SXGA+?

    Greetings everyone!
    I'd like to inquire about the # of brightness notches on the T61 SXGA+ is it 15like the current T61 WXGA+ or is 7 like the past T60? Also if you do own a
    T61 SXGA+ are you happy with the level of brightness produced? :) Appreciate all of your input! thank you for your time and have a wonderful evening!

    Brightness is 150nits compared to some of the widescreens on Thinkpad that have 180-200 nits.

    The SXGA+ screen on my R60 is 150 nits as well. I wish it were a bit brighter.

    The LG/Philips version of the 15.4" WSXGA+ is very bright.

    This thread is about the SXGA+.

    btw, for some reason I don't get any on-screen notches.
    Which app controls the feature?

    I don't think it is. for in door its sufficient... but go outside even in the shade and it gets really washed.
