I am so jealous!
I still don't have mine. I just called Lenovo, and this time the agent told me that UPS will pick up my package from that wrong place (now I know that is somewhere on King Street, Toronto) today between 930am to 1130am. After that, UPS may start to send it to me. So technically I should be able to get it anytime from today afternoon to tomorrow.
This agent sounds pretty positive that I should get a new tracking number after UPS starts to deliver my package. I am assuming that the reason why yesterday's agent told me that I won't have a tracking number is because that she did not see it in their system. But if you don't see it, can't you just tell me that you don't see it?
Now I have to call Lenovo back this afternoon to see if there is any updates from UPS.

I am getting more and more cranky during these days. Every time I called Lenovo, I got something new, and someting different, and got more and more anxious.
I am pretty sure that I will eventually get my package though, and I have a very strong feeling that I will get it no later than the end of next week. During those crazy phone calls, I can tell Lenovo is really pushing things forward. And I have no problem to reach their agents, the longest waiting time is 20 minutes, that is not bad.
Hopefully, when I get my package, everyting in there is all right, it is everying what I ordered for, all my upgrades are there, so I don't have to go down the returning route.
Please, Santa, please make sure everything is a OK, that's all I ask for this Christmas. -
Here is what I found out from UPS about their return options:
Dear X,
Thank you for your response.
As the shipment was delivered as addressed, the shipper would then arrange to have the shipment picked up and a new label would have been issued. We have two return pickup options available for the shipper to retrieve this shipment.
UPS Return options:
- 1 UPS Pickup Attempt: This service allows you to request one pickup attempt. If the package cannot be picked up, the label is left for the recipient to return the package via any UPS method.
- 3 UPS Pickup Attempts: This service allows you to request up to three pickup attempts. After the third pickup attempt, the label is returned to UPS.
With the above options, the shipper is provided with a record of the tracking number.
If we may assist you in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us.

So that means for sure I should get a new tracking number after the delivery happens. -
HuLalala........I got the new tracking number, finally!
This time, the agent did not even ask for my order number, once he picked up the phone, he asked me "Are you XXXXXX" I said I know I am already famous in your office, and he said yeah yeah, your case is bothering us too.......
He gave me the tracking number, although the package is not scanned by UPS yet, which means I can not see anything from UPS at this moment, but it is sitting in Lenovo's warehouse and waiting for the UPS truck to pick it up together with other packages later today. So I should be able to check the status tomorrow morning.
If I don't see it from UPS tomorrow, I will for sure bug them again till I see my lovely box in my hand! -

I ordered a T510 on the 13th and I received it today the 22nd! wouhou!! I got it with the HD+ screen and boy its a very nice screen, it destroys the T410s screen in terms of quality.

The tracking number that I got yesterday doesn't show me any thing on UPS, I am wondering if it is correct number, or I heard it wrong through the phone. I will call them right after 9am.

Got confirmation from Lenovo, the tracking number is correct, waiting for UPS to scan it. Not sure if my package is still in Lenovo's warehouse or picked up by UPS already.

This is really painful!
I have already recognized those Lenovo agents' voices. I have always been connected to one of those 3 people, 2 females, 1 male. One of the ladies is not very professional. She always tells you "Its too early, be patient, give another X days".
Today, at the beginning of the phone call, she said that BS again, I cut her off and told her I have already passed that "Waiting, be patient" stage. Then she said she did not see any tracking number in the system, that is why I should be patient and wait for another 24 hours. BS! I said "go and check the emails", yesterday's agent read a bunch of emails and then gave me this number, if he can, why you can't! Then, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, and then told me she has already checked with some guy, and Yes, the tracking number is correct, just need to wait for UPS to scan it.
So still, I should be patient and wait. -
Anybody knows unusally how long for UPS to scan a package? Do they wait after bringing a bunch of packages together and then scan them?

It usually takes afew hours but after checking my old status its like an hour.

OK, then it all depends on when UPS can pick up my package. It apparently did not happen last night. Fingers Crossed, UPS will pick it up sometime today, then I still have hope to get it before Christmas.

I received mine today (23rd).
What's amazing is it took 4 days (ordered on 19th, received on 23rd).
So Lenovo's est. ship date is inaccurate (good thing).
Overall, I am satisfied with their shipping. -
I'm in the same boat as you are, but just received notification that it was shipped today (as per estimated shipping date).

but viola, it was shipped on the 23rd and UPS attempted delivery on the 24th. I was out of town and my doorman was off. So I'll get it tomorrow. So it shipped 4 days after delivery and I ordered on a Sunday. Impressive Lenovo.... -
I ordered my W510 on Dec 23rd and my account record showed that it was shipped on Dec 27th. How concerned should I be that it hasn't arrived yet today, Jan 6th?? I'm in Toronto Canada.

So I'm guessing you should be expecting yours sometime next week (Jan 10-14th).
If you're worried, you'll have to call Lenovo and request a tracking number (via your order #) as they only give it to you by request (not shown on site). -

I ordrered my replacement laptop on December 22nd, I hope to receive it during next week.
Its a replacement machine so it was ordered through customer complaints department.
