This will depend whether the machine itself is on or off and the wattage of the charger.

One thing I wanted to say is that should NEVER let the battery goto a charge level of zero. This can permanently damage the battery.

I've never measured it closely. With a ninety watt charger and the machine on, it takes about two hours???

It depends on how you are using the machine. If you have the processors loaded the battery will not charge at it's full charge rate and will take longer to charge. You can confirm this by looking in the Lenovo power manger at the stated charge rate. If you load the processors it'll get cut in half.

While it may not be the best for the battery to run to 0 percent it won't damage the battery. The battery and laptop will cutoff before the danger point of damage is reached.

0 percent doesn't actually mean no power left in the battery, it means there is nothing that can be safely removed anymore. To run the battery down below the safe voltage level you'd have to bypass the protection built into the laptop.
