    How long does it take a Thinkpad to reach a customer NY once it's shipped? I just realized it might be a bit longer than I anticipated to actually have my machine in hand.

    I ordered an R61 back in April and it took SIX business days from leaving the factory to my front door in Georgia. That was the basic/standard shipping service. Two days of that time was spent in Customs.

    I hate the waiting game. Mine took 6-7 days (including a weekend) to reach Texas. It got here a day ahead of my "Estimated Delivery Date"

    It only took about 36 hours (on a Sunday) for my x200 to go from the factory in Shanghai to my door in Ohio. Although your mileage will vary.

    I think 5-7 days is the norm. really depends on customs and location.
