    How long does it take to receive your X220 ?

    I made the custom order of the X220 on 08/16/11 and I still don't have an email saying that it has shipped yet. On the other hand, I already received my extra battery 2 days ago. I guess I can use the battery as a "baton" weapon and nothing else at this time. :)

    Does it take that long to build a computer?

    You're a few days in front of me... I was told the canned 7-10 business days, but here's hoping it shows up next week. :)

    Historically speaking, a couple weeks isn't that bad. You're still in the 7-10 windows. People used to wait six months or longer for certain configurations back in the day, but it was a different world back then.

    Not sure about the X220 or if that takes longer than others. I ordered a custom T520 8/19 with estimated ship date of 8/31. Got my shipping notification yesterday 8/23 with expected delivery Monday 8/29. Hopefully you hear from them soon.

    Took mine exactly 9 days from order to delivery. But yeah, the other thread mentioned by thetoast is where all of everyone's experiences are >.>

    Its route was Shanghai --> Arkansas --> Kentucky --> Utah --> My door.

    Strangely enough, where it spent the most time was Kentucky. 4 freaking days just sitting there with no activity update. >=(

    Now the wait is on for my tech to receive the DisplayPort part to replace mine :p
