How long did your thinkpad T60P take to ship??

I know lenovo is aweful with shipping.

I am considering buying the T60p tomorrow and I need it by mid July.

Just maybe, the aweful shipping times only apply to certain notebook models (such as the T61 14.1').

Just to see if my theory is correct, how much did your shipping time deviate from the initial estimation date, and when did you order your notebook?

Lenovo notebooks of any models are welcomed, but I will be looking at the T60p data.

I've ordered two machines from lenovo's website now, the first time I ordered on April 15th and received on May 2nd (shipped April 30th, where as the estimate was May 10th). Unfortunately this computer was defective so I had to send it back. They replaced my order on May 4th and said that it was on the "Critical" list. Supposedly the order was supposed to ship on May 30th but it still has not shipped as of today and the new estimated ship date is the 16th of July...

btw, I ordered a T60p 15.4" model

I ordered a T60p 15.4" on May 22nd. Estimated ship date still shows June 15th, I'll update if it slips back. I am hoping it ships earlier but I am jsut impatient

 

I ordered a 15.4" T60p on 05/30/07 and my estimated ship date is 07/16/07. I am so angry.

I called Lenovo and the cust. service said that it is an error and should actually ship 3.5 weeks from 05/30/07... it better because I need my notebook by June 28.
