    Okay boys and girls - I ordered my first ThinkPad yesterday (T500) and now the waiting begins.

    I would like to poll the audience and see how many people got their laptops before or after the estimated shipping date. Feel free to share your personal experiences - including what you did to stay sane during the wait.

    what I did to stay sane... I went to my university classes and did my homework lol.

    The ESD for my Y450 was June 10th. It shipped May 23rd. Granted that was still about a week and a half after I ordered.

    Technically they should all ship before the "estimated date". Lenovo has a tendency to re-estimate the date if it's going to be late (my x200T had its date changed, but it was also one of the very first units in early November 2008).

    I ordered my Y550 on May 22, my estimated ship date was May 28th, but it shipped the next day. I should be getting it Thursday.
