How long did it take after you ordered it?

I ordered mine July 10th. They said it would be shipping out July 27th. Then on the 27th they send me an email saying it's now going to be shipped August 10th. Not to mention the lock and memory card which are being shipped August 17th! Sure I'd be ok with it I have another computer to use for now but I'm afraid it won't get to me before I leave for school.

So how long did it take you to get it after it was ordered? I assume it takes like 5 days after it's shipping...right?

 

7 weeks for z61t !!

 

my custom z60t took just over a month to process and was shipped overnight from china to chicago. I was shocked by the ship time. Especially since my order was with the normal/ground/free shipping.

 

Z60m took 3 weeks.
Z61t took 2 days.
Both directly from Lenovo.

I think the extra money they charge for express shipping is worthless. I had standard delivery for my Z60m and it only took 2-3 days to receive it after leaving China. I paid for express shipping on my Z61t and it got here in 2 days from NC.

 

I purchased my t60p via lenovo on July 21st and their estimated ship date was initially August 9th. However, they shipped it on July 28th to my surprise and arrived on the 31st. Maybe I was just lucky, but just sharing my experience. Good luck with yours.

 

Dyn, if I may ask, what optional things did you order? Such as, extra ram, power adapter, etc, I'm just trying to figure out how 'addons' delay shipment.

Z60t (2513MHU) - just ordered from "buy today, ship today" promo earlier...lets see..

 

I also ordered a t60p via lenovo on the 22th of July, estimated ship date was the 8th of August. To my surprise they shipped on the 25th of July and arrived the 28th of July. I got really lucky.

But I think it came with a defective palm rest.

 

X60s, ordered July 18, estimated ship date August 9, shipped from Shanghai July 24, delivered in New York July 27, 8:55 AM.

 

I bought the T60p from the top seller thingy during the back to school sale for $2,199. I just chose the 512mb free ram but didn't add anything else. But it seems that a lot of people who ordered in the last week or so have received delivery before their estimated ship dates. A first from Lenovo?

 

Bought it on July 21st, estimated ship date is august 14th, guy on the phone said it will go out on the 8 or 9th.

We'll see.

 

Just order a T60p today (8/3/06), est shipping on 8/30. Hope it will come early.

 

Wow that's slow... before you ordered the model, did the description for it state something like, "Ships within 3-5 bus. days" or "Ships within 8-10 bus. days" ??

 

Don't know if this is a dead thread but I ordered the N100 yesterday [8/3/06] and just got the shipping date today [8/4/06]. I guess we'll see how long it takes to get here.

 

Ordered 7/19, supposed to be 1-3 weeks before shipping. 8/7 was estimate given, actually shipped on 7/27.

Ordered another one on 7/31, supposed to be 8-10 business days before shipping. 8/4 was estimate given, actually shipped on 8/2.

Both were shipped UPS express even though I didn't request/pay for it.

 

Item is a 2623D6 with extra 512 RAM (pretty standard, I assume). Ordered on 7/30/06. The estimated date is 8/17/06.

 

I ordered a z60t 2513mcu Friday night, meaning the order wouldn't be processed until Monday China time, and it was delivered here in L.A. today, Wednesday. It was shipped from Hong Kong Monday night. I'd call that pretty fast by any standard. It was also with free shipping, but Lenovo charged me their 20 buck normal shipping charge, and I'm having a hell of a time getting a credit for the overcharge. I've made six calls now and even talked to live voices but no one seems to have the power to correct the situation, and then they turn me over to someone else who supposedly can but can't.

 

ordered a t60, buy today, ship today on friday. paid $50 for express shipping. It shipped from Hong Kong on Monday and had it in hand on Wednesday (Charlotte, NC).

 

I ordered a customized SXGA T60 on August 4th (tax free weekend!) and it's estimated ship date is August 30th. After reading their message about the delay in shipping (if you don't explicitly allow a delay of more than 5 days they automatically cancel your oder) I'm a little concerned that they're going to cancel the order or something, though.

 

Ordered a T60 with extra 512mb ram on Jul, 25th. Est. ship date is Aug, 14th. Hopefully it will ship next week...

 

update: received the extra 1GB memory this morning, the T60p still list est ship on 8/30/06.
