    If Dell has a 4 day delay with their ATI 3650 video card, would this delay have any effect with Lenovo, especially the Y730 models.

    Another recent data point WRT a new T500.

    Ordered - Nov 19 late in the day in the US. (IIRC, it showed "in process" by the next day.)

    Estimated ship date: Nov 12.

    Reported ship date: Nov 23 (Woo!!! :D )

    Arrival in Anchorage AK: Nov 24

    Arrival in Louisville, KY: Nov 25

    Cleared US Customs: Nov 28:

    First delivery attempt: Nov 28: (KY to Chicago, IL suburb)

    Second (Successful) delivery attempt: Dec 1.

    So... Lenovo did great, UPS did great, Customs could have done better.

    My X200s shipped. Ordered on 28 November 2008, shipped on 8 December 2008, right around midnight. We'll see whether the 2-day gets it here on Wednesday or Thursday.

    I ordered my T500 the morning of 12/5 with an estimated ship date of 12/16. Got an email the morning of 12/8 that it had shipped. UPS now says it's estimated to be delivered 12/15. So far, so good.

    mines supposed to ship May 6 and ordered April 21, the website says that it takes 12 days or soemthing when you click the button that says customize, nothing has happened yet and it's been over a week

    Mine shipped several weeks early too. Ordered a W500 on April 14 with a original configurator delay of 4-6 weeks, but it shipped out on April 24.

    Depending on what you ordered, there were massive supply problems with several components - webcams, certain screens such as LED backlit or WSXGA+ displays, Blu-ray drives and certain 7200rpm hard drives. Many of those parts came in last week and they working through the backlog of orders, so some of those with really long (4-6+ week delays) are actually going out early.
