I've just got a bluetooth headset (Motorola HT820) to use with my bluetooth enabled T43, but I'm not satisfied with the performance of the installed software.

First of all, can anybody tell me if the bluetooth that comes with the Thinkpad (T43 for instance) is:

    1) A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compliant

    2) AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile)

I've updated my bluetooth software and drivers using IBM's software installer and got a new version called "ThinkPad Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate Software". It creates a Audio Device on WinXP called "Bluetooth High Quality Audio" (besides the old simple "Bluetooth Audio"). I was very hopeful that it would work well with that, but it still doesn't (the sound is good but keeps stoping and resumming all the time, like a low connection which cannot transfer all data in time).

Using the old "Bluetooth Audio", the sound is just terrible!

    I appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

PS.: ccbr01, as you look like a specialist on this subject, could you give me your opinion here? As you showed on your review, the headphone is great (I found it just a little heavy and bulky). The sound (when connected to the DC800) is outstanding!!
