    How far off for Quads in Thinkpads?

    I was wondering if any1 knew, or had any good guesses for when we may expect to see intel quads in the thinkpad line.

    I remember when the core 2 duos arrived on the lenovo site, and it was sooner than many people expected.

    Thanks for looking, and my R61 order got cancelled.

    I would doubt Quads would come as soon as feb of 08. The Core 2 Duo Extreme is coming out first Quarter of next year.

    The Quads, I THINK will come out by the end of 08 or first Quarter of 09.

    A quad in a notebook?
    Not anytime soon. Not at least in the thin-n-light category.
    But the next gen core 2 duos (penryn based), are just around the corner.
