    How do you stop that thinkpad Beep?

    Go into your device manager, go to View-> Show Hidden Devices, and then under Non Plug and Play Devices, choose Beep. Under Driver, change Startup to Disabled.

    I believe the Beep you are all speaking bout is when you are typing, correct? THat is when you are pressing more than 3 keys at once or too fast, if I remember from previous threads.

    If you guys are speaking of the beeping when changing power states that can be changed in Power Manager.

    Yea it was the one when typing, but why even have that feature I don't see any use in it, except freaking me out when I have my music up and it goes off lol
