    it seems like you can't use IBM screen at resolutions other than 1028x768. Are you guys happy with IBM screens?

    You have to use you laptop at its native resolution, be it 1024x768 or 1400x1050, otherwise it won't look good. It is the same for all laptops, not just IBMs.

    Maybe I don't understand your question...I'm quite happy with my T42's SXGA screen at its native resolution of 1400x1050.
