I heard of people finding out the dates their's was made, i want to upgrade to a T9300 as some may already know, and want to know if mine was made later in production of the T61/p series, so that i know to expect the thermal sensor error upon startup. Where on the Lenovo site can you find this out?

use CPU-Z or Everest to check your Motherboard revision number, this will tell you what motherboard you have, and whether that supports the Penryn line of processors.

The date should be found on the bottom of the Thinkpad, directly following the serial number, in the form YY/MM.
