    Can someone tell me what I need to click and where I need to go to enable battery stretch.

    Left click your Power Manager battery meter and enable it.

    Do you have Power Manager installed? Double click on it (green battery icon in the taskbar) and click on the last tab. Battery stretch settings will be there.
