I've decided to pick up a Thinkpad T410S, how do I get the best price on it? So far all I know is to use the SPP login (CPP requires last name now, apparently) and Bing Cashback... Any insight would be greatly appreciated, I want to pull the trigger this week.
Thanks guys.

You only qualify for SPP if you're an IBM shareholder. Otherwise you'll have to wait for coupons.
-
And those coupons are really great. I got a whopping 30% off on a W510 couple of weeks ago - 1k below the price of an equally equipped Dell M4500! Just be patient and aware.
-
I loved your retro review btw, Aikimox.
-
Thanks Aikimox, what websites should I check for these coupons?
-
Here for one.
-
Haha oops.. thanks! For some reason the $750 off T410S coupon isn't working... is it worth it to check slickdeals/fatwallet or is your website updated with the same coupons?
Any other recommended sites? -
You could check any you wish. I think that NBR gets the same coupons as slickdeals and fatwallet. The $750 off coupon is for canada only this time around.
-
You can save a quote for 21 days I believe.
-
-
But it's worth mentioning that any coupons you used for the quote, if they expire before you convert your quote to an order, the quote becomes invalid.

For SPP,all you have to do is create a account.
-
SPP is for IBM shareholders. If you place an order and Lenovo decides to verify your status, and you can't provide the proof, your order will be cancelled.
-
Thanks for the help so far everyone.
UPDATE: I've attached my current configuration, which is totaling $1634 w/ 3 year warranty and Thinkpad protection as well as LoJack.
This is through my SPP account.
Does anyone have suggestions? I've also heard I can use Fatwallet for 3.5% cashback, but can't find the SPP link through their site. If anyone has insight it would be greatly appreciated.Attached Files:

Good luck on your order and hope it doesn't get cancelled...

Thanks, I'm a shareholder.
