Im on the T61 and am unable to find a way to do this.

Basically I want the brightness to be max when the power is connected and about half the setting when the battery is connected.

    Can somebody help?

    Thanks

It's in there. Go to the power manager, I want to say it's under advanced, but maybe system settings. You'll need to use the upper-right button to switch to Advanced (over basic).

I'll piggy-back on this, though: I want to know how to get it to keep the brightness when I adjust it manually (separate for power/battery). So, for example, if I'm somewhere where the AC flickers sometimes, if I drop the brightness a couple of notches from full (Let's just say 12/15), when the power drops out, I want it to lower the brightness, but when the power comes back in, I want it to return to 12/15, not full. Any way to do this, short of changing the power settings each time I want to adjust?
