I hear tell of people getting combinations of options that I just don't see on the IBM web-site. Like 330zhp's T43P: "14" SXGA+ display, 100 gig 7200 RPM drive, 128 Megs of ATI Fire 3200 Video RAM, Pent M 2.23 GHz., i1 gig of RAM)" - for $2950!
How did he manage to order that?
Or what about the Z60m reviewed on this site? 15.4" WSXGA screen and a 2GHz processor?
Where can such systems be ordered? Am I missing something?
    Thanks for any purchasing advice!

Choose the "Let me build it" option, or give them a call at 1-866-96-THINK.

"Let me build it" yields even fewer options than starting with a model in "view all models" and then upgrading what's allowed. But you're right - I should just call, but that doesn't seem very efficient or reliable given the usual folks at the other end of the line...

Well if your looking to spend around $2000 when you call up they usually have a "heavily discounted" high end model which might have everything your looking for plus at a decent price.

Yeah, I agree, the web options are pretty poor. Sorry !
