The IBM software keeps giving me problems and the only way IT could get my wireless card to work was to get it to be managed by microsoft software. The problem is they did not know how they did it and after rebooting the IBM software is trying to manage it again and now it is not working. When I go to the Microsoft software it keeps saying I need to somehow get the IBM software to let microsoft manage it.

Best way is to go to Add or Remove Programs > Remove IBM Access Connections and then after uninstalling right click on wireless icon in your system tray, select Advanced settings, then on the second tab click the checkbox "let Windows manage my wireless" or something like that. Kinda odd that IBM Access Connections isn't working for you though. Might want to try updating drivers for that too.
