Hi fellas I am an undergraduate living in London. There seems to be no trace yet of a x220t here, and I think even if there is, the price would be way too high for me to afford . However the price in the US seems reasonable, even if it includes an international shipping cost. The problem is, I haven't yet to find any online stores that is willing to ship internationally, and if they are accepting a visa debit card or not. My father is going to Haiti, and will be staying at US for two or so days, so I was wondering if there is by any chance a 42962WU lying in any retail store? If not, I would be much appreciate if you guys can think of any solutions

Very few ThinkPads are sold in retail stores. Plus wouldn't you have to pay VAT when you try to enter the country at Customs?

you can order from the lenovo store using AMEX, im not sure if the lenovo store also accepts amazon checkout, but the outlet certainly does.

then you can use a mail forwarding service to get it to the uk, but yes, you will have to pay VAT on it.

Provantage does I believe offer international shipping, but it must be done with a wire transfer.

check ebay, some of the sellers specialise in thinkpads, if you send them a message they can create a private listing for you of the X220t, but bear in mind you'll have to pay VAT so take that 20% increase into account. Even with that, its still quite a bit cheaper than lenovo UK (although i havent tried calling lenovo UK to bargain, usually they offer a discount if u call in)
