I have a T61p. If I'm playing a game, and I accidentally hit caps lock, the little caps lock ON message pops up at the bottom right hand of the screen, causing the game to temporarily switch back to the desktop, resetting the resolution, and throwing everything off (screen resolution doesn't switch back properly).

How can I just get rid of this notification? I have the icon light on the hardware--I don't need the popup on the screen.

    hi, rceee,
could you please upload a shot about the issue?
i doubt it's related about the bluetooth software.

hehe, kajima wants to find out how to enable the caps lock message!

You guys need to swap laptops :D!

Seriously though, this is an odd one to me because I've never seen a caps lock display on the LCD screen. I have OSD for other things (vol, bright, mute, etc.), but not caps lock or num lock for that matter. Just the green LED below the screen.

    A puzzler.

Maybe someone will come and rescue us all !

IIRC, when I had Windows XP it popped up suddenly, after an udate. Vista probably comes with it. Nothing you can do unless someone figured out which registry key needs to be changed.
