I ordered a custom built r61 yesterday (saturday), and was really disappointed with the delivery time (I think it was about 3 weeks, it said 1-2 weeks). I don't have that long, and I need to cancel my order today (Sunday). Can I cancel online? How long will it be until I have the money back in my account? I assume they didn't start building it yesterday or today, so they shouldn't have a problem.

I think your best option will be to cancel over the phone on Monday. When you cancel they will not give you a cancellation number or e-mail. You will have no proof that your order was canceled. All they do is "send a note" to some unknown destination to have it canceled. Some cancellations show up immediately on the order status page. Other times it takes a week or more to be canceled. Sometimes they are never actually canceled and your card will be charged and the laptop will ship anyway. It can be a nightmare. Search the threads for more information.
Most importantly, do yourself a big favor. Ask the sales rep to send you an e-mail stating that you called to cancel the order so you have proof if there is a problem. Do not hang up the phone until you see the e-mail otherwise it will probably not be sent. I speak from experience. -
I purchased online on Thursday, found out about the coupon on Friday and called to cancel on Friday. I checked today and my order is gone from the website.
