how are the IBM USB2 combo drives in term of quality and compatibility with media? I recently ordered and cancelled an x41, but the combo drive was shipped anyways. I have the option of keeping it for $75 or sending it back. By itself, the drive is $199. I also just bought a plextor 708UPF external dvd burner as well for the x41 tablet that i'm awaiting. So, is the IBM USB2 drive worth keeping? I don't see myself carrying the USB2 combo drive around, but i occasionally travel and might need an external drive. Thanks.

It is only worth keeping if you need mobility. The plextor drive besides being able to burn DVDs will be faster ond offer better burn quality. If you need mobility, you can get a laptop drive in an external case. Good Luck.
