Hello to all board members, this is my first post so just saying hi first. This story starts way back on Sept 17 when I first ordered the U330, they give me the est. ship date Oct 1st. Well it is a long wait but I really like the design and feature the U330 gives so I patiently waited for it. Then finally on the Oct 1st, I checked the status it is saying Oct 15!! which is delayed for another 15 days. I was like "***" so I called lenovo and tell them I want to cancel my order. I am a business man with alot of traveling, and I really needs a laptop for my next trip which coming up shortly. The phone call to cancelling my order was smooth and seems like no problem. Guess what happen two days later(oct 3rd), I recieved a shipment confirmation that my order just shipped out. This is nuts, they rushed my suppostly Oct 15 est. ship date order to Oct 3rd and the worst of all....they rushed my cancelled order..it is a scam. I checked on many forum including this forum that a lot of ppl are waiting for their U330 order, and I feel bad for them to wait more when Lenovo just send a cancelled order to someone who is not wants them. btw I brought a new laptop in a computer store right on the next day that I called Lenovo to cancel the order. Now I have one laptop with me and another one is on its way to my house. This is the worst insult ever in my life, they make a fool out of me wasting my precious time waiting for three weeks then extended the est. shipdate. Further more to pissing me off is that they rushed 13 days for my cancelled order, it just like slapping right on my face. What I hate more is that they might even make me to go all over with that freaking return order proceedures. I think they wasted enough of my time and effort already since I own my own business and TIME is MONEY to me, Lenovo this time really wasted alot of my money and effort. I am a fan of IBM and I have been using IBM products all my life even after Lenovo takes over. This is my first time order them over at their website, and I can say that the way they handle things are horrible. Now I typing this article in my hotel with my new laptop and planning to give Lenovo a call when I gets home later today, will keep you guys updated. Hope you guys dont mine my broken english since it is my second language.

In the retail sales game, where salespeople work on commission, there is a fine line between what is actually illegal and what salespeople try to get away with. My best guess is that cancelled orders are shipped immediatly if at all possible, figuring that a certain percentage of people are just going to accept the order and those that dont were orders that they were going to loose anyway, so either way, they still come out ahead. I know that this is no consolation, but I have seen alot worse in the retail sales business. :(
