So I remember that last year the best time to buy a Thinkpad was right around Black Friday. In terms of the X and T series systems out, does anyone think that there will be any refreshes or is what is out there, what will exist for the holidays?

Also compared to last year does the early bird prices look good or is it safe to guess that better prices are above the horizon?

    All speculation of course

Expect refreshes when Sandy Bridge comes. It should be officially announced in January at CES, and manufacturers will hopefully soon after follow up with new systems.

I like your avatar by the way. :D
