    I'm guessing no. The X220 uses a 7mm drives. The biggest 7mm drive Hitachi makes is the 500GB Z5K500, which I have in my X220i. If you want a 7mm 1TB drive, the WD WD10SPCX is the only one and only 5400RPM. It's kind of on the expensive side, around $120 from what I've seen. I'm personally waiting for the under $100 price point before considering it.
