    The ad doesn't mention that the x300 costs about a thousand more than the Macbook Air. Until Lenovo offers a hard drive on the x300 they aren't really directly comparable.

    what I find funny is how the ad bashes the MBA but doesn't say how the x300 solves the problem with the usb ports.

    I think they're just bragging that the ThinkPad X300 has three times as many USB ports than the MBA has, which is decent.

    Besides, I'm not completely sure it's an official Lenovo ad.

    It is just making fun of the fact that yes the MBA is the thinnest notebook out but the x300 is the thinnest fully functioning laptop available.
