How do I find out if my "Hidden Partition" has been deleted?
I would like to do a restore from the hidden partition if it's still there...

BTW what came first: The chicken or the egg?

    Go to Start

    Type in diskpart

    Type in list disk

    Type in select disk 0

    Type in list partition

And you should only see one partition that takes up most (if not all) of your hard drive space.

the hidden partition is a maintenance partition used for recovery and backups. It contains all the files necessary to restore your computer to the factory state as well as some backup functions. it is hidden so it cannot be modified by windows or the user accidentally.
