    Hi!

I have a R52 but did a a reformat with my friend's T43 recovery disks. The reason was that I simply could not find my R52 recovery disks.

At the end of the process, reinstalled all other necessary programs which I needed before. I also updated my system to SP3.

When I wanted to hibernate, I realised FN+F12 doesn't work. So when I manually hibernated, I could not find the hibernate option. Worse, even the standby mode is gone.

I went to Power management settings to check "enable hibernation" (or something like that), but the moment I "applied", the box unchecked by itself.

I would really appreciate your help on this.

    Thank you.

    Kramjit.
