    Hey Guys... I bought A Lenovo Y50-70 2 month ago 8 GB RAM and now When i try to start screen is blank. it works but with the screen black...sometimes if i wait enough with the laptop on the screen just start on it self


    i Am Desperate Guys i Need Help i am from Egypt and Currently Working in KSA so i cant use my laptop warranty.

    My Y50 did that, it would turn on with a black screen with keyboard lit and nothing displaying with screen light on. Turned out to be a motherboard failure so I had to get it replaced, which was a painful process.

    You could try running down the cmos battery on the laptop
    Unplug your power adapter
    Plug in all usb devices so the laptop battery dies quicker
    When your battery is dead, hold down the turn on button for 10-15 seconds and do this a couple of times just to make sure
    Plug in your adapter again and see if it boots, if it doesn't then is probably repair time unfortunately
