Sounds great... assume you're going to add some after-market memory.

thanks yes i was gonna get 4 gig of corsair i suppose.
is the 140m an ok card? is it a direct x 10 card? how much better than x3100?
any ideas on this smart card thing? or if vista business 64 is a good idea? i really wanted to be able to use all 4 gigs of ram.
thanks! -
That's a good price... did you go through the Visa site for the additional discount?
-
also, is there any glaring reason not to buy a laptop right now? like they are going to start throwing quads in these the moment i confirm checkout or something.
-
no just the regular site where there is a sale. and the coupon code USPMARCHSAVINGS -
-
If you're in the US and can use a Visa card, try this site:
http://shoplenovo.i2.com/SEUILibrary/controller/Lenovo:EnterStdAffinity?affinity=visacardholders&ConfigContext=StdAffinityPortal
Sometimes you can enter a code, too... I used USXTRIPLESAVINGS, but it may no longer be valid. Just another option, if it doesn't save you more money, at least you exhausted your options! -
thanks for that link. it comes out about the same, 7 dollars more. but i can get cashback 8% thru fatwallet.
does any1 hold the answer to this smartcard enigma?
no1 have business 64 or an opinion of it?

Smartcards are those credit cards with chips on them. If you're wondering why you'd need a reader, you don't need one.
The 3 year mail-in warranty's only $100. You might want to consider it.
