Can you guys help me out?
I pulled the trigger on a R61 last night..After looking over the confirmation email with all of the detail, I noticed that the video card card listed on the email is different than what was in the cart when I paid. There was no option to select anything other than : Intel GMA X3100 GM965 w/ 1394 ???
What do you think I'm going to get here? ...960? I hope not!
Any info would be appreciated.

call them first thing in the morning. That's what I'm doing 'couse they gave me 2 different prices - on the order website and in the confirmation e-mail.

Sorry, my comment was addressed to those who've been overcharged since Lenovo's CS service is very reluctant when it comes to editing prices.
In regards to your question: you're getting the Intel X3100 card. -

I think their system is all jacked up- this is on order status detail and makes no sense:

Why would the video card have a recycling fee? I ordered a t61 last week, no fee on x3100 965 ??? -

If/when you do talk to a CSR, I think you'll find the "GMA 960" is just a feature of their ordering system. You'll still get the X3100. The order manifest contains a bunch of other mysterious entries as well - maybe that's why they no longer show the itemized list any longer when you check your order status

weberror. They're canceling all the R61 orders placed during the weekend. I just talked to their representative (after 40min wait on the phone).

how do you know this? i haven't gotten any cancellation notice... plus my order link is still valid.

Some if not most of your orders will get through. Especially if you bought some upgrades, and just didn't go straight $473.

What I think (and predicted in "what happened to T5xxx!?") is they did have them to offer, posted the deal intentionally (not a mistake), and the exponential effect here and FW, SD, BB, etc cashed them all out. Lenovo didn't expect it'd explode to that extent.
Of course I'm guessing, and he could be telling you the truth that everyone's get cancelled. But let's assume what I suggest is the case for a moment- if you were a CSR, would you rather tell a customer whose order was to be canceled that there just were'nt enough of the parts, or simply that everyone's order was canceled because the part never existed? You'd have been much more pissed had he told you the former, instead of "oh well just missed out on a price mistake" vs they authorized your card, let the order go through, now just cancelling it when others did. You'd fight harder. They already have a hardcore case of the mondays going on over there.
Not that I know, just thinking that if what I guess WAS the case- that's exaclty what they'd say anyways. And lenovo has told me far more lies than truth, so I'm skeptical.

(Edit- Also, consider that processor option disappeared last night- if it were a glitch and they never existed in the first place, and cs is just finding out about it this morning- why at some point did that processor option disappear yet pricing structure remained the same?) -
I called in at 6:30 am PST, confirmed the x3100 was the card, Also added DVD recordable, changed 7 to 6 cell, and added the camera. They sent me a new confirmation....charged my CC. I would assume I'm good- 8/30 ship date.

The CSR did put me on hold to check, after telling me they had a problem over the weekend...came back on: "Your fine"----->. I got up early to make sure if they were short, I was gettin one!
