This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Help with integrated webcam on z61m

    Hello,

    I have recently noticed that I am unable to use the integrated webcam that came with the z61m. Previously, I would be able to take pictures by using the "integrated webcam" software found in "My Computer", or with MSN Messenger. Now I find that both options have simply "disappeared" and it's like my webcam is not detected at all. I am unsure when this happened as I very rarely use the webcam, but I still appreciate the option to do so :(

    I've tried many things, such as Lenovo updates for webcam driver/software, as well as trying to install hardware through Windows XP "Add Hardware" option.

    Anyone have similar problems or can think of a solution? Thanks in advance!
