Hi, i just got my notebook and im looking through the order sheets and i am thinking they gave me the wrong processor.
I am terrible with computers, so if it seems like i know nothing about computers, you're pretty much right.

So anyways, i asked for Core2Duo, but it says the following on the 'packing list' - NewIntelLab_DualCore/CeDuo
ok, i have no idea what it means...but i see Dual Core and not Core 2 Duo. I paid for the extra amount for it and on the other order sheets, it says the following - Intel2Duo

i dont know what to do...I dont wanna turn on my notebook just in case i got the wrong order and i dont want to rant to the operators from Lenovo with the possibility of me being wrong. So i just came here to check.
    Please help ahhh lol

    Assuming you have Vista OS.

    - Click on "Start" --> "Control Panel" --> "Classic View"
    - Double-click on the "System" icon

You'll be able to confirm your processor type, RAM size.

If you don't want to open the box..have you checked Parts Lookup on the website ? ( need Serial#).
But if they sent you the wrong part and you opened it, it shouldn't be any penalty to you ..it'll be on Lenovo to correct it.
Or Start>Right Click on Computer> Properties. cpu info should show up.

Although Morphy is right about the responsibility being on Lenovo for sending you the wrong item, I still would not open it if I were you. I've read too many horror stories about Lenovo and their practices, so if there is any way that you can make the determination without opening the package (i.e. asking a friend to look it over, checking Lenovo's website on another computer, or even calling Lenovo), then please do that.

Don't worry I did the same thing...when I got my x61s I saw "vista basic" on the sticker and I ordered business...business was on the laptop.
