Oh yea i am using an external lcd since my screen is soo dark.

Perhaps when you dropped it you damaged/loosened the connections between the computer and the monitor, specifically, the connection to the backlight?

where exactly should i look... where the ccfl and the inverter? cuz i have switched it out and back and still the same.. a diy of taking it apart might help me if someone can post it please.
Im starting to give up on this so its why i just opted to go buy a new lcd. it should be just a pop on and off right? -
The lenovo support sites have visual and video tutorials for doing system repairs.
You can also look at the service training site.

Stuck using an external monitor. -
I'd say most likely damaged the backlight. You can replace just the bulb and it'll be less expensive, but it's a PITA job. You might be better off doing the whole LCD, but check all the connections for sure as it don't cost nothing.
