    Were do i find the place to put the bluetooth module? in my oild dell it was under a door on the bottom of the computer. under the keyboard on my thinkpad t61 only has the wireless card and the ram. help anyone know were to install this bluettoh.

    This is what the inside of your T61 should look like: (this is the 15.4" model)

    You will see that directly underneath the keyboard, there is a modem, and the wireless card. They are in the center of the image.

    Is your bluetooth card long and narrow, or long and wide?
    If its long and narrow, you can simply add the bluetooth module to the mini pcie port in the lower left of the image.
    I have a intel turbo memory module there.
    Simply remove it, cause it does nothing.
    Add the bluetooth there.
    If you bought a mini pci bluetooth card than you are out of luck, since the T61 does not have mini pci.
    It only has mini pcie.

    nevermind i had bluetooth all along. just wasnt actiavted.

    Guess this is where I should have posted my question. I guess it is easy to install bluetooth after production? I made a mistake of not having this built in. Is there any recommendation for where to buy a card? I saw the dell site, but is that the only option?

    Thanks (I just got my T61 15.4").
