So I decided to buy several machines in the outlet. I picked up a 15.4 inch T61 with WUXGA screen. I know that it has been said that all WUXGA s come with some kind of discrete video card (is this true?), but the specs did not mention one (which the outlet has been known to be wrong). I have been scouring the parts list and it appears that it doesn't have dedicated video. Could someone with more experience let me know? Here is the list:

A bit of a side question. Do you know how the Intel 1gb Turbo Memory shows up on the parts list? Another computer that I purchased says that it has it but if it does indeed have it, it is not obvious on the parts list.

For what I know you can't archive 1920x1200 (WUXGA) without discreet GFX.

    X3100 no way.

I just bought a T61 (p?) that I am currently waiting for. Here is my spec sheet:

    42V8287 SBB 15.4 WSXGA+ TFT
    42V8295 SBB UN(TRACKPOINT TOUCHPA

Mine does not have the screen type that your does, but my spec sheet (which is formatted very differently from yours) lists the nvidia card seperately (which makes me think that it is a T61p). Also, I could swear that the spec sheet shown on the website listed the turbo cache, but it is not listed on the spec sheet.

Time will tell what I get.

That is what I thought as well, but it doesn't indicated it in the parts list (isn't it usually indicated in the "planar" line?). Do others with WUXGA have it listed similarly in their parts list?

First the good news... you've got the LG screen.
The not so good... turbo mem is 42T0907, so if that's not listed, you don't have it (unless someone goofed putting the build sheet together).
You've got 42W7877 for your planar listed, which is a System board assembly, nVIDIA NB8P-GL with AMT (discrete graphics) vs the Intel GM965 with AMT (integrated).

Take all of this with a grain of salt, since people make mistakes entering this info. If you'd like to check this out for yourself, click here:
