I bought this laptop http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?id=504655 from office depot.

    15"-diagonal XGA (1024 x 768) TFT LCD screen
Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2060 operating at 1.6GHz
    1MB L2 cache
    Up to 533MHz frontside bus
    1.0GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory (2 x 512MB), upgradable to 4.0GB
80GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive
    1 S-video port
5-in-1 memory card reader (compatible with SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro and xD-Picture Card)
PC Card expansion slot, Type I/II, compatible with CardBus
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with shared video memory
Realtek ALC861VD sound with Intel High Definition Audio and built-in stereo speakers

I started using this and noticed that its toooo slow.
Its has got 1 gig of RAM with vista business. Is it slow because of the RAM?
Do you think making it 2 gig RAM will solve the issue? Experts here, please help. Thanks in advance.

It depends what are your needs (gaming is more demanding)...

Anyway, many people recommend using 2 gigs of RAM with Vista if you run more demanding applications or many apps in parallel (adding RAM is often the best performance/price upgrade for a computer)

It would also help to remove bloatware/unnecessary software
