Having issues where my laptop (edge 220s) will not power on with the Crucial realSSD c300 (firmware 7) plugged in. Red thinkpad light comes on for a second, then goes off. Never gets to BIOS. Here are the steps -

-upgraded SSD to firmware 7 on desktop
-made restore "disks" from factory harddrive on a usb harddrive
    -Removed "spacer" from SSD
-turned battery power off in BIOS, removed factory harddrive, installed SSD, turned power on, and will not power on (Red thinkpad light comes on for a second, then goes off.)
-Tried the SSD as a secondary on my desktop - powered up fine, recognized the drive, and I was able to do a quick format of the drive and copy files to it.
-Tried putting the SSD back into the edge 220s, and same issue. If I connect it to my desktop, works fine

So, it appears that the drive is OK but it is having a strange issue with the edge 220s. The SSD is on the latest firmware (7), and the BIOS is on the latest that Lenovo has out on the website (1.08) Any ideas / suggestions would be very appreciated. Has anybody else run into this, or has anyone successfully installed a realSSD c300 (firmware 7) to an Edge 220s? I've scoured the web, but didn't find much on this particular issue. I am about to throw my 220s and SSD out the window. Thanks!
