    Help - Both sides of my laptop screen is dark

    Hi Guys !

    I need a little help here. Both sides of my laptop lcd is dark. I am using lenovo t61 and my lcd model is LP154W02-TL06

    The problem is both sides of my lcd is dim and dark . i have attached a picture of it at full brightness.

    Please take a look and tell me how to repair it

    yes..there probably isn't a whole lot you can do. Keep that picture so maybe you can send it to lenovo support to backup your claims.

    Is this a new laptop, or was the computer working fine earlier? A lot of LCDs have an uneven brightness pattern, although it rarely looks as sever as it does in your particular picture. I would say it is likely defective, and recommend that you give Lenovo a call and see if they have any suggestions.

    I'd try to exchange it, but they're probably going to tell you that it's within spec.

    Well lets not speculate what Lenovo support will say.

    It does look pretty bad from that picture. What does a picture of your desktop look like?
