I updated my T420 to the latest BIOS yesterday and since then: no Bluetooth in the device manager, Fn+F5 shows only Wifi :(
Bluetooth is enabled in the BIOS settings.

I am only guessing that the problem is because I updated the BIOS since that's pretty much all I did yesterday. I installed pretty much all updates and software from Lenovo since then, still nothing!

I hear that it has been an issue with some users, can someone help with this please? It drives me nuts for the past 6 hours!

The first thing that I'd do would be to boot from a "live" Linux CD just to determine whether issue is software or hardware-related.

If there's no BT in Linux either, you're facing a hardware problem.

    Good luck.

I can try that I guess. Thanks for the tip. I thought that other people had the same issue and someone came up with an answer but can't find anything to solve my problem right now. I'll try, thank you!
