    Hello,

I recently noticed in Task Manager my CPU speed no remains at a constant 2.59 GHz (it's a Core i5-3220M), it no longer will throttle down or go into boost (3.1 GHz). When I go into power plan settings and click on Advanced settings, the Processor Power Management, I no longer have settings to change the CPU minimum and maximum speed settings. I did recently do a clean Windows 8 install and also there has been a recent BIOS update from Lenovo, so I don't know if one of those things screwed up the settings. Any help restoring these settings would be much appreciated.

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was Hyper-V. Once I removed it then everything went back to working the way it should.
